It's reported on <A HREF="http://www.realroadracing.com">www.realroadracing.com</A> that Ronnie was killed in a road traffic accident last night. This is another huge loss to the TT after he had done so well in 2002, and he will be sorely missed for both his riding and his personality. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.

How awful, David. My thoughts are with them all.

I heard the news this afternoon and have found it very hard to believe. "Ronnie" will be so very sadly missed around the road and race circuits of the world.He was held in great respect by both fans and racers alike. Deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
