Is mad sunday the sunday before race week or the sunday of race week?????

Mad sunday is the middle Sunday of the festival and is traditionally the first Sunday In June, so that will make it the 1st of June this year.

It is a little more conservative than it was but a few years ago---

It is still a great, eventful day but care should be exercised (or is that exorcised ?)
