Not in the slightest Hilary. Im sure they would manage to work off any extra pounds during their break any way! I mean by walking the hills in the lake district..... lol

Many thanks for the good wishes, I have only just
received as David and I just got up from another
Steam Racket as we only docked in at 545am this
morning when we should have been back at 1130pm
last night ! The Seacat has apparantly been
running on one engine and took David's family
3 and half hours to reach Liverpool Saturday
morning and they informed us we'd not be going
back at 9pm but after midnight. We were sent with
a meal voucher to a pub, ordered the meal then
a man from IOMSP CO came and said boat cancelled
you need to go to Heysham to get the 215am !
And we were waiting for the meal we just ordered !
Well we had an enjoyable break in the Lake
District, beautiful sunny weather, blue sky,
excellent views from the top of Helm Crag,
Sergeant Man and Haystacks, there were more.
And it was so peaceful, that final evening we
had to hear on NorthWest news about the fires
in Douglas, one of which sponsors our team for
the Manx GP, the Mereside, and we hope you'll
be running again by TT.

Our thanks to Kim for our overnight stay and
lovely breakfast (on my birthday) and to Kev
also, go them a***s at work ! And the lovely Sid,
he can stay with us anytime !

And I had the pleasure of meeting Pykey for a
drink after the goal less game ! Nevermind it was
all a good break !

Now the real work starts getting ready for the
coming season, and I've entered the Big One !

PS I've been up an hour and half, David just
getting up ! The sun is shining in the back garden
but for only another hour and half if we're lucky !

Welcome back! Had a report when Kev and Kim dropped in here the other day. I keep my eye on you, you know!
Sorry to hear about the Mereside. i saw the report but didn't realise it was them. Hope they get fixed up quickly.

Sorry to hear about your exploits with the steam racket Gail but it was nice of you to visit the club y/day, no wonder David is still in bed i had the same problem at last years TT 24 hrs to get to the island, anyway as i said great to meet you and good luck fot the coming season.
