Tyco Suzuki topped the afternoon session at the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship official test at Snetterton as Josh Brookes moved ahead of Milwaukee Yamaha's James Ellison with the teams completing valuable laps before the Brands Hatch season opener (5/6/7 April).
Ellison and the Milwaukee Yamaha team had been making steady progress throughout the day as they moved to the top of the times early in the afternoon, but Brookes had the edge and narrowly moved ahead before the end of the session.
Buildbase BMW's James Westmoreland had a strong afternoon session as he moved third fastest and reported positive progress as he continues to adapt to his new team and the BMW whilst Jakub Smrz had a strong showing on the Padgetts Honda in fourth on his first visit to Snetterton. Milwaukee Yamaha's Josh Waters rounded out the top five from Tommy Bridewell and Jon Kirkham.
