Cameron Donald in the 2013 Superbike Race
Popular Australian Cameron Donald will be riding this year’s TT after all.
It was initially thought that cam would sit out the TT completely, then return in August to participate in the Classic event.
But an announcement is to be made tomorrow, Wednesday, in which it will be confirmed that the three-time winner will ride the Superbike and Senior events only.
His name was not included in the official list released last week by race organisers and headed by other regular solo riders such as John McGuinness, Guy Martin, Michael Dunlop, Gary Johnson, Conor Cummins, William Dunlop, Bruce Anstey, Dean Harrison and Michael Rutter.
The sidecar entry is headed by Manxman Dave Molyneux and passenger Patrick Farrance, former world champions Ben and Tom Birchall, Tim Reeves and Dan Sayle.
The entry contains 11 former solo race winners with a collective 57 wins between them.
Newcomers include British Superbike Championship contenders Martin Jessopp and Peter Hickman, former Moto3 GP front runner Danny Webb, plus Callum Laidlaw, Alan Bonner, Vick de Cooremeter, Laurent Hoffmann, Dan Kruger and Franck Petricola.
The seeded top-20 start lists for the superbike, superstock and senior classes will also be announced in Thursday’s Manx Independent.
