Mar-Train Racing’s Dean Harrison and Welshman Ian Lougher have been confirmed as special guests for this weekend’s Dromara Destroyers fundraising motorcycle show.
The event opens on Friday, November 14 from 5pm-10pm and again on Saturday, November 15 from 10am-5pm at the Lagan Valley LeisurePlex in Lisburn.
Bradford rider Harrison has signed a two-year deal with the Ulster team to compete in the Superbike and Superstock classes on the roads with Yamaha’s all-new R1.
The 25-year-old will also compete in the Supersport class on the YZF R6 for Tim Martin’s outfit, which was announced as Yamaha UK’s official road race team in October.
Lougher, meanwhile, remains a huge hit with the fans after retiring from road racing at the end of last season and showed he had lost none of his class as he clinched victory in the 500cc race at the Classic TT in August.
The legendary Dromara Destroyers, including Brian Reid, Ray McCullough, Trevor Steele and Graeme McGregor, will also be in attendance over the two days as efforts continue to raise funds for a tribute to the famous quartet in Dromara village.
A minimum admission donation of £5 is requested this weekend.
