Former BBC MotoGP anchor man Matt Roberts, who now presents Eurosport’s coverage of the World Superbike and British Superbike Championship, will replace James Whitham as the main presenter for tomorrow evening’s Official launch of the 2017 Isle of Man TT Races fuelled by Monster Energy at the Villa Marina, with James now unable to attend the evening.
Matt will present alongside ITV4 commentator Steve Plater, himself a two time TT Race winner including his memorable Senior TT win in 2009.
The event, which is streamed live and available to view on-line, features many of the leading solo TT riders including Michael Dunlop, John McGuinness and Ian Hutchinson as well as all of the leading sidecar competitors.
The event will also feature stunning HD footage of some of the most memorable and spectacular action from the 2016 races as riders relive some of the best moments from last year’s meeting.
Many of the riders have already arrived on the Island, including former BSB champion Josh Brookes who has travelled from Australia for the event.
