Tim and Tristan Reeves have opened their 2017 Hyundai Heavy Industries British Sidecar Championship account with a victory at Brands Hatch, by 12.357 seconds from Stevens/Charlwood and Kershaw/Clark.

Reeves/Reeves grabbed the holeshot from pole, and extended their lead at the front quickly over Kershaw/Clark who ran second. Recovering from a bad start Stevens/Charlwood made their way into third place, and began to chase down second.

As the flag came out Reeves/Reeves cruised over the line in the Carl Cox Motorsport outfit, taking their first 25 points of the season. Stevens/Charlwood made their move in the dying moments on Kershaw/Clark with household favourite Chris Walker crossing the line in fourth.
