Wednesday evening qualifying off, extra Thursday afternoon session planned
[Image: TTgreenhdr.jpg]

The weather has caused the postponement of a third TT qualifying session this week.

Wednesday’s wet weather has forced organisers to call off the evening’s planned qualifying, meaning there will be an extra session tomorrow (Thursday) afternoon if conditions allow.

Clerk of the course Gary Thompson tweeted:

’This evening’s qualifying session has been cancelled due to poor conditions on the TT Mountain Course. Lots of rain and low cloud and mist. Dependent on weather conditions tomorrow, we will have a qualifying session on Thursday afternoon as per the schedule. Sorry guys.....’

Roads are due to close tomorrow morning from 11.15am onwards with the session beginning at 1pm.

Roads will re-open from approximately 4.30pm before shutting again at 6pm for the planned Thursday evening session.

RE: Wednesday evening qualifying off, extra Thursday afternoon session planned
Forecast isn't very good for tomorrow afternoon, if it goes then it'll not be a long session.

Friday looking a bit better from mid afternoon onwards.

Saturday ok but I'd put money on it being a day of practice.

Sunday gets better as the days goes on..... Superbike sunday... It's got a ring to it.

We arrive mid afternoon on Friday, I expect to arrive to roads closed already.

Down to port erin, unload bike, sort gear at digs and back up to Douglas to watch the practice.... It's not all bad is it.

Hey Ho.... We'll all still be on the island enjoying ourselves

See you on the island
