It’s been 115 years in the making, but finally, after 100 editions of the world-famous event, the Isle of Man TT Races can now boast its very own podcast series. Crafted in Salford’s MediaCity under the expert guidance of Audio Always, ‘The TT Podcast’ is your fortnightly audible guide to the races and racers.
What makes the Isle of Man TT Races so special? Find out, by joining our favourite irreverent presenter, Chris Pritchard, and resident expert, Steve Plater, as they delve into the fabled motorcycling event, meeting the men and women who risk everything in pursuit of glory.
Our special guests will be laying bare their own relationship with the TT, gifting fans a unique glimpse into their lives as a TT racer and, perhaps, allowing us to understand what drives them to take on the world’s most challenging and dangerous road race.
From tall-tales and laugh-out-loud moments, to expert analysis and personal insight, The TT Podcast promises to be an entertaining blast for all lovers of motorcycling – but essential listening for fans of the world’s greatest motor-sporting event.
Episode 1 is available here, and who better to have as a first guest, but the fastest rider in the event’s 115-year history: Peter Hickman? Can he go faster still? And more importantly, has dad forgiven him for hiding that new race bike round the side of the house?

Following fast in Peter’s wheel-tracks are more superb guests and, with the start of TT 2022 just 20 weeks away, The TT Podcast is stacked with the biggest names from the world of the TT as we countdown to the first ‘tap on the shoulder’ since 2019.
