Taking a caravan over to the Island
What's the current situation? I believe you used to have to get a act of parliament passed or something but have they reached the 20th century yet?
Taken a campervan in the past but this will be my first visit over with tranny van and caravan. Don't intend to take the caravan anywhere else but straight to the paddock, do I still need special permission if so how do I get it?

Re: Taking a caravan over to the Island
You will need permission by way of a covering letter from the manx government office when you board the ferry. Contact the race office at the grandstand for details.

Re: Taking a caravan over to the Island
You will NOT be allowed on the the ferry unless you have a letter granting permission to bring a caravan to the IOM
