For many years, every summer a lady came and camped near the gate in the SOUTHERN100 paddock. This year she was not there, and noone seems to know either who she is, or why she didn't come this year... anybody know?

I think I know who you mean - there was something about her in one of the TT Supporters Club mags about not being able to come over this year. I'll dig it out and have a look.

This would be 'P'tite Ann' or 'Wee Annie' to the Scottish contingent. As I thought, there was an article about her in the Summer 2007 TT Supporters Club mag. It did indeed say she wouldn't be over this year but implied that she would be back, so I guess there's nothing to worry about.
