Anstey Disqualified in Supersport Race
The TT organisers have confirmed that Bruce Anstey, the winner of the Relentless Supersport Junior TT Race 1, has beem disqualified because of a technical breech of the homologation rules for Supersport machines.

This now places Steve Plater in the winners position, with John McGuinness in second and Keith Amor in third place.

The organisers believe that the mistake in the engine build was not a deliberate attempt to gain an advantage, but simply a human error which under the rules results in disqualification.

Official race report and results will be posted as soon as they are released.

RE: Anstey Disqualified in Supersport Race
All because he left the Island on Saturday evening to go to London for an audition....

He had heard they were looking for a Nancy (an Anstey) for the stage show "Oliver".

But it is very sad after all his effort in the race....However he was miles faster than the rest....................helped by cam thingies ??

Unfortunately he can't appeal..
