Sunday 12th July saw a fundraising event for the Nick Crowe & Mark Cox fund
in the shape of an Am Am golf competition at Glen Truan Bride.
22 teams played in the event which raised £1656.00 for the fund and a win on
88 points for the team from Deloitte,s comprising Chris Lee, Juan Corlett,
Chris Eves and Max,
2nd place on count back was I Crane R Mcellany,P Routerlidge and M Craine
The prize money were donated by Home Strategic of Douglas, Heron & Brearley
supplied the winners champagne and Poolvash Quarry the trophy's
We would like to thank Helen & Richard from Glen Truan for again letting us
have the golf course at a greatly reduced green fee's so soon after letting
us have Glen Truan for the Geoff Cannell Trophy which raised £6500.
Robinsons and Jack Frost supplied the baps and bacon which went down well
with donations to the fund.
Finally I would like to thank all the staff and members of Glen Truan and
everyone who played on Sunday for helping and making the event a success
