D Morgan Supp Club raise funds for Action Cancer
At their First annual Dinner Dance last night, the Davy Morgan Supporters Club put on a great night, with over 120 guests present from across the province and further afield, they were treated to a scumpticious meal ;

After the meal, club secretary, Greg Livingstone spoke of how the club originated, and went on to say that they were indeed overwhelmed with the support shown in their first year.
As we all know, the club also added another idea, and that was to raise funds for action cancer, coupled with davys well known Pink helmet, and the action cancers logo, of the pink ribbon, it was indeed a fitting choice, and a brilliant idea.
Their aim was to raise £700!, AND that would be seling a LOT of badges!.
To cut a long story short, they over achieved their goal, and last night, Kelly McCrea from action Cancer was there to recieve the cheque, for;;;;;;;;;
An Amazing £5000.00!
Kelly, along with everyone there was astounded by the amount raised;

It didnt end there, as when at the TT the same idea was given the go ahead by the Manx version of Action Cancer, unfortunately, their rep was unable to attend, so xxxx of the club, who actually initiated the idea in the first place, accepted the cheque for;;;;;;;;;;;;;;, £2250.00!!, amazing or what

Monies raised at the Southern Road Races will be paid out to a similiar charity in due course.
Kelly McCrea also told us, that thanks To this charity being highlighted by the club, that the Chosen Charity for the NW200 Next year will be ACTION CANCER!

Greg Livingstone went on to Thanks the Club for thier hard work, and looked forward to more of the same for 2010.
He also paid Thanks to everyone who helped in any way, no matter how smll or how large, their efforts are very much appreciated.
