I have posted this on other forums but the more I ask I suppose the more chance I have of getting lucky! On the Monday of race week at the Manx we managed to either leave/lose my pressure gauge and pump. The pressure gauge is a Draper digital black and the pump is a small bicycle pump black with strange silver writing on it.
We have turned the van upside down assuming we had dropped them in the van but no luck.
So we either dropped them in the holding area or when walking back to the day paddock.
If by some incredibly piece if luck someone has found them please could they let me know.
Not so worried about the pump but would really like to get the pressure gauge back.
I lost bits of the K4 at the Bungalow, parts of crankcases, most of conrod, bits from 500 at Guthries, most of the bodywork and sticky out bits..............begger

Thanks for that Jo. Didn’t think there was much chance but had to ask.
Ah that would be some of those infamous slotted Honda crankcases!
Hopefully not but you may end up losing most of the rest of the K4 in the round black filling cabinet.
Get well and good luck with the bike rebuild.

Yes 'those' crankcases, the filing cabinet is almost full.

Back in I think 2004 I had to stop during the SCL when my rev counter came loose. I didn't fancy leaving it flapping about in the fairing in case it dropped and jammed the steering. I threw it in a hedge on the left just before Quarry Bends with the intention of going back after the race, however when I got back the next day it had gone. One of the TMs also kindly had a look round and asked the corner marshals if anyone had picked something up but still no trace. Thing is, it was wired to fit my bike and it wouldn't have worked on anything else.
I reckon it was the sock fairies, those pesky litttle critters who go round washing machines nicking one sock from each....
