It still seems impossible that we will never see Steve Hislop again, but it is a year ago today he was taken from us. My thoughts are with Margaret, Ally, the boys and all his friends and family.
Stella and Alex went to the Steve Hislop memorial exhibiton in Hawick last week, and say it is ecxelent,very moving and an appropriate tribute to a family who gave so much to racing.Mary and I will be going soon, and if anyone else wants to see it, it is in Drumlanrig Tower, and it is open until October.
Always with us, never forgotten, still a hero.

It's hard to believe a year has gone by.... he's still always in our thoughts. The boys are getting bigger by the day and Steve would be tremendously proud of them. They're two beautiful, bright, loving little boys and I'm proud to be part of their lives and to have known Steve. He's missed more than he'll ever know or would ever have thought.

Kel, keep up the good work kid - you're doing a brilliant job. Steve would be proud of you too. x
