Below under the Simmo postings you can find a link to the MCN web forum where I posted my photos for the personal pleasure of anyone who cared to have a look.

However, I am a little disappointed that one of my photo's has been lifted and used on a subscription only forum.

Just a note on the MCN web site would have done the trick.

Re:Filching pics
It's a shame but apparently on the web anyone can lift precious pictures from your website.

I have started "spoiling" my web pictures by adding my name or company name slap bang in the middle. I thought the nicking would stop.

Someone on the Isle of Man who should know better has been filching ours for years including some of my rare ones. I've seen them in magazines and papers.

Does it deter ?? Not B****Y likely !

What's the answer ?

Re:Filching pics
I don't know how it's done but you can protect your pictures and stop them being lifted from your website if you go to realroadracing.com you'll find that all the pictures are copyright and can not be "lifted"
Interestingly part of RRR.com is a pay to view site one wonders if it was...... ?

Re:Filching pics
I haven't got shares in this site but it may be of interest to those interested in protection their images.

I think it is a terrible thing to do, downloading other people's photos from the internet - I haven't done it once, this week.

Re:Filching pics
This method of protection is free and may be interesting to anyone with a lot of photos or other intelectual property on the internet.
