Sunday Superbike Race
Will we see a race today ?

Looks as if we could, as the sun is making intermittent appearances among the clouds. A few damp patches around the course, but nothing of any real concern. Temperatures are good and if we get a go, we could have a good days racing in front of us.

The Superbike race is due to start at 14:00 hrs, as long as the usual issues such as parked cars and spectators running late to get to their chosen viewing positions can be overcome.

Ryan Farquhar will be first away, followed by Paul Hunt, then Bruce Anstey, Martin Finnegan, Adrian Archibald, Ian Lougher, Richard Britton, Jason Griffiths and John McGuinness.

Slicks appear to be the chosen tyres for today, so the riders must be thinking (hoping) that it will stay dry throughout. If so, will we see McGuinness break the record(s) again ?
