If you still haven't been to the Southern100, believe me, you are missing the very best racing there is.
This week's racing was probably the best S100 I have ever seen..close racing at the front, in the middle, and down the last men.
Ian Lougher was awesome...the older he gets..the better he IS.
Guy Martin...desperately trying to catch and pass him...not long now, boyo, and you will..
Ryan, when he had the bike sorted, Jason (Mr Perfect...Willis' description) Griffiths, Paul Hunt, Chris Palmer, nigel Beattie...I could go on and on...best newcomer 6 times...Davy Morgan.
The past masters parade was fantastic, with the likes of Ray McCullough, Con Law, Ron Langston...champions from all eras, all approacheable and enjoying themselves.
The organisation and the welcome were, as ever, the best there is.
Thank you to everyone, riders, organisers, marshalls, caterers..for the best race meeting anywhere. Here's to the next 50 years.
