27 yrs today we lost our local hero at the Ulster GP John G Williams, RIP John.

I was there that day and saw him crash very sad indeed.
Right after the crash he looked fine.

27 years ago..........suddenly I feel my age

Thanks Cargo yes and remember Ballacrae? you were trying to emulate John anyway good luck at the MGP.

I was also there and watched John walk to the medical center at the bottom of the paddock, and heard the bad news the day after.
A very sad loss, a great rider and a true gentalman.

What can you say about the tragic untimely loss of a great man, road racer and a true friend.

The worst boat trip home I ever had.

Blimey I remember that race John had with Pat Hennnen at the TT like it was yesterday. Can't believe it's that long ago.
A lovely person, never forgotten.
