ACU licence changes
This is taken from Manx Radio on line,

The Autocycle Union has backed down on the qualifying periods for competitors to obtain the new T.T. Course licence for next year's T.T. and Manx Grand Prix meetings.

Riders will now have a full year from 1st April 2005 to have completed 3 races for the T.T., and 12 months from the end of last May for the M.G.P..

A.C.U. Chairman Jim Parker has also apologised to Tourism Minister David Cretney for the way in which the new regulation was announced.

Speaking on this morning's Talking Heads programme, Mr Cretney said he still intends to raise a number of other issues with the A.C.U.:-

The 2005 TT and MGP themselves count towards the 3 required meetings?

Yes Mike if you have competed in the classics at the Manx and at the TT in June they both count, two different . The Jurby road races counrt as well!
Youth is wasted on the under forties !
