EBAY book: anyone read this book re the great Bob McIntyre?
Hi all,

I've read a lot of reviews about this rarity, claming to be the ultimate book about the legend that is Bob McIntyre.

Just wondering if anyone here has read it?

Look forward to your opinions,

ekim

wow. Thanks for the fast response.

I was under the impression it was just a biography.

Is this the first edition?

I've found it impossible to find it elsewhere. I don't buy on eBay but would like to give to a friend who is a big fan.

Thanks thewitch!

You might find it at an autojumble, but my advice is to bite the bullet and buy it on Ebay. I use Ebay all the time.

Incidentally, there is a new book, by Mick Walker, which should be excellent. I haven't seen it, but I think it's out.

Talking on books I have a hardback book written by Alan Peck himself a former rider on the life story of wee Bill Ivy titled NO TIME TO LOSE.
Never seen another although I guess there must be many I bought it many years ago after wee Bills tragic death,as I knew Bill and wanted something to remember him by. Its a facinating read if anyone gets the chance of one grab it.

You can still get No Time to Lose from Mill House books

My Dad has got some great ones from the 60's like 'Racing All My Life (Derek Minter), Wheels of Fortune (Jim Redman), Prince of Speed (Phil Read) as well as a book by Mike Hailwood and Murray Walker, the Art of Motorcycling I think it's called - they're fantastic books
