I'd like to say thank you to Derek Butcher and everyone at Knockhill for adopting the Joey Dunlop Foundation as their 2006 charity, and offering this wonderful prize and their support for us to fundraise at the circuit this year. (Not the first time they have been so generous either.)
Also Niall, who is a star in more ways than one...he responded instantly when I asked him to make this unique offer.
We sometimes get ourselves wound up about the politics and the negative aspects of our sport, but it is full of amazing, lovely people.
(Now that I have said that, I will be badgering others...if you see me coming, put your hand in your pocket and shell out your spondulicks...)
