This is my first post here. Hello!
I am looking for information about Alec Bennett, the great TT and GP rider of the 1920s. I have a copy of Dennis May's chapter on Bennett from Pastmasters of Speed. There was also an article in the May/June 2002 issue of Classic Racer magazine (I've ordered the back issue). I am told that there is a chapter on Bennett in TT Heroes by Mike Savage. Has anyone seen it? Is it worth seeking out? There is also supposed to be a chapter on Bennett in TT Greats: the Top Fifty Riders by Mick Grant. But was that book ever published, or is it one of those books that was listed as "forthcoming" but never made it to print? It shows up on some databases, but there don't seem to be any copies of it anywhere.

BTW, would anyone know when Alec Bennett died?
