Robert Dunlop..wouldn't qualify!!
Well now. Robert Dunlop has just broken the lap record and won the 125 class at the NW200. Of course, having been out of the game for some considerable time, due to surgical work, he would not be eligible to race at the TT or MGP...

In response to Lee, Robert wouldn't have been doing the TT as the 125cc race was dropped from the programme.Robert only competes in the small capacity classes nowadays due to the arm injuries he suffered in a TT accident, which restrict his movement and strength. It just goes to show though, that the ACU are totally out of touch with the real racing world

So who is the first top guy to be kicked in the nuts with the new rule?

That is a crying shame.

Is there no appeal tribunal?

Surely a rider of his stature would have a case to put forward.

believe me, Lee we have tried.. have a look back through the messages on the board and you will see what he is up against. Shaun will definitely not be at the TT this year, and the TT will be the poorer for that.
