Not at all, John - I once thought I knew, but now I'm not so sure.
Redman?
Lawlor?
I always understood that, as it says, the factory gave it to Jim and it sat in its crate until (I heard) Luke bought it off him.
Subsequently, it was thrashed unmercifully in parades/demos until the engine brought its breakfast up.
The rebuild in England (NOT by Leo O'Reilly) was less than professional, and Luke asked Leo to do it properly, which he did, as expertly as everything he does.
Now, however, I'm wondering if it isn't Jim's property after all!!
Never mind - how's it going?
Going back to Billown next year?
