I just thought I would let you all know that Gail Griffiths (Musson) finished in 1076th place in today's Great North Run.Not bad out of 50000.

Renzo, thanks for your enquiry about myself.I am getting there, steadily.I have to get used to a prosthetic leg, which will take some time, especially if I am to each my goal of riding my motorcycle again!Gary Dickinson has been a great support to me,as he knows how tough things can be,and he keeps telling me to keep my chin up

Well done Gail. Glad to hear you're on the mend Hilary. Me and hubby used to watch you racing at Darley Moor where Don Ryder is still in residence and doing a cracking job. He just hosted the "Stars" with John McGuinness as the headline act. I'm sure you will have the determination to ride that bike again - Good on you!!! Big Grin

Hilary, its so inspiring to hear how you are doing.

I must tell you this....

When this posting was made, I read it out to Pamela.
Only problem was, I said "Hilary has done really well in the Great North Run!"
You should have seen her face!!

Sorry, but its probably a bit early for that!

All the best.

Nice one Mike! I really don't get offended by anything like that.If I can tackle a walk round Tesco in the future,I will have acheived something, but I HAVE to get back on a bike, just like Shaun. No rude comments from you lot, either, lol
