Outside of road racing my other great passion is rugby.............particulary the six Nations.
Today is the first day of the championship and it's the most open for some years.
Ireland of course are my team of choice and today we play the Italians
in a must win game
Wales travel to London to play England.....................A draw would be good :wink:

And tomorrow Scotland take on the French......................A draw here would be good too.

However my heart hopes that the Welsh can win at Twickinham for the first time in 20 years.
And maybe just maybe the Scots can defeat the French

All this comes at a very bad time for me I'm trying to lose some weight ahead of the race season but today all diets are off...............Guinness and chips all day long :wink:

Well now what an interesting day that was...............

As expected the Irish beat the Italians but not convincingly.
And what game the Welsh played beating the Engerlanders at Twickers

What will happen tomorrow can the Scots overcome the French and complete my treble.....................
Yes folks I've got money on a Scotish win picked Ireland and Wales to win today so it's all riding on the Scots
