2008... it's 30 years!
This TT will be 30 years since Mike's comeback, and 30 years since Jock Taylor won his first TT. It was the most emotional week I can remember, and I wonder how we should celebrate the anniversary this year... ideas?

Well I do think it should be remembered for the epic year it was!

I understand that David Hailwood is to ride Mikes Duke on the Ducati parade lap?

For your part, it will be a topic of converstation on "The bus"

Any ideas?

In memory of a great "gentleman" sportsman, and TT rider, how about nameing Friday 6th June "Hailwood Day", perhaps we could get the organizers to play ball, the dep't of tourisim and leisure, and perhaps even the IOM news papers to name them the Hailwood Day news ?????.

What a great idea! I wonder who would be best to approach? Perhaps the Minister, Adrian Earnshaw, who is, I know, a great Hailwood fan himself.
