Arrests made on suspicion of T.T. Sign Theft

Two Isle of Man residents have been arrested on suspicion of the theft of T.T. Prohibited and Restricted area signs.

The men are from Douglas and the Strang and have been charged by Police.

They are due to appear before the High Bailiff at 3.30pm this afternoon.

For the past two weeks, there have been reports of signage being stolen from around the T.T. Mountain Course.

IMO think the punishment should be they have one of the signs (and pole) inserted widthways somewhere painful-no matter what stupid reason they did it

The two culprits have already been dealt with by Mr Moyle. They have each been fined the sum of £500. Additionally, Mr Moyle has issued a warning that it is likely that any person committing the same offence will go to prison. Full story here:

the 2 of them being DOT apprentices as well, hope their bosses do something about it.
