1 YEAR OLD
A little over 12 months since I squased myself, ( Na, my nuts are ok thanks)

I had become so confused with life, what was my role and Goal in life these days, I thought it was to just get better and to totally focus on my girls only? WRONG

fiona my wife is a fantastic Women/person, she knows the man she wanted very well, she knows what I am thinking ( When not thinking about us) and she has told me, and blessed me to start racing again! Love you honey!

So life has restarted for me finally

I am doing a very intense training programme, Swimming and Gym work, the improvement to my physicall condition and mental attitude since starting this programme is really incredible!

Mentally, YES I did have some issues with the head injury I had, but we are pretty well past that stage of life now, and are on top of that now. A big part in finding myself again and having respect and confidence in myself again, has come from simplly admitting to the fact that I AM NOT SPENT YET, I am a bike racer, and will probally be one untill I am 99 or so, I am just one of those old freaks that loves the game or bike racing.

SO THE HIDDEN MESSAGE TO ALL IS

If you really want some thing bad enough, YOU CAN get it! Stay focused, stay honest, and get on with it, NO EXCUSES, go hard folks

Happy anniversary Shaun, I found myself thinking of you every time I rode past the Railway (well within the speed limit). Good luck for the future, and at least you know you have the backing of your family and fans whatever you decide to do. Onwards and upwards eh, Shaun?

Good to have you around still Shaun, best wishes indeed.

I noted the airbag with the tyre mark and arrow with SHAUN HARRIS written on it was at Laurel Bank this year, Perhaps it will become a permanent fixture somewhere on the course.

See you in 2009....

I hope not: as far as I can see all the places which are named after anyone, are all named after dead people! Too high a price for fame, and I am sure we would all prefer to see Shaun alive and well! Yahoo

RE: 1 YEAR OLD
They didn't do him any great honour with that one then! A fairly unmemorable bend, and not worthy of him. Should have been at the bottom of Bray or somewhere - "Duke's Bottom", followed by "Ago's Leap"........or is that too pornotube.com? "Duke's Dip" maybe?
