Feeling a little nostalgic now the races are over,does anyone remember that up until a few years ago the local rag used to publish details such as: this year a total of 214 competitors completed 764 laps in practice and races on 11 different makes of machine.
The most popular being Honda followed by Yamaha and Kawasaki.
Or was it the MGP ? either way I always found it very interesting,it should be even easier to do with modern technology.
I think the number of laps completed,the distance covered, and the no of competitors are all still shown on the results sheets.
Thought it was a great year though the grid size was a little dissapointing.
