well hope you enjoyed my little 37 3/4 album which has a link in the milestone marker thread-well whilst taking those piccies i took these couple-yes this is an actual location on the circuit so where is it?
absolutely spot on correct bill!and that is a fantastic archive piccie!the entrance can be seen from the right hand turn into what is now a large family house...but be warned crossing the road to get to it is VERY hairy!especially on a sunny sunday afternoon!
The adit comes out in a quarry. The picture, which shows Les Graham parking up his stricken AJS in the 1949 Junior TT; he was leading the race on the first lap. This picture was in this years photo exhibition at Laxey, it will be displayed, along with another 199 pics, at the Sulby Glen Hotel during TT and Manx fortnight. We are working on a new set of pictures for Laxey next year - see you there!

You certainly could do, I have been through it a few years ago, it is a bit wet underfoot as you go through to the quarry.
I gather it was a favourite spot for 'horizontal recreation' by the locals!
