Memory Lane - TT Research request
Hi Everyone,

I am currently doing some research for a documentary project on the TT and was hoping for some assistance.

I am trying to get a real feel for what some of the popular locations both on and off track during the 60's-70's would have looked like. If anyone can provide information or even better stills I would greatly appreciate it. I am in contact with a lot of the great TT enthusiasts and historians who have some fantastic stills, but I have been struggling to find much from the following locations

Douglas Bay Hotel
The Texas bar (at DBH)
Palace Casino (I understand the Modern Hilton is roughly the same)
The Round Bar at the Palace
The Hawaiian Bar
Any other TT nightlife spots of interest

I am also interested in any information about the evening of the 67' Senior TT. After Agostini's chain snapped and he lost, I understand Mike Hailwood took him out on the town to console him, does anyone have any stories from that night? I think they had the Daily Mail Man of the Week awards at the Palace that night, was anyone there?

Also during practice that week Mike and Bill Ivy crashed Bill's Ferari at Greeba castle, and scared half to death a waitress they had picked up at the Hawaiian bar whose name I believe was Florence, does anyone have any more information about that night or any anecdotes from 67?

Thanks for your help and hopefully see you all in 2010

If you need to contact me directly about any of this information please email josh.bloom1@gmail.com
