Will people boycott this years parade due to cost
£200 is expensive for 1 marshalled lap ,will people be reluctant to pay this,will regular paraders be put off ?

YES!the real stars will never pay this.Which means the rest will be subsidizing them.Thats if there is a rest.anyone who pays this to ride behind a marshal has got to be bonkers or sad.alan robinson must be spinning..perhaps someone will tell us how this decision was made.

Possibly the £200 is to cover the cost of insurance.
I still think there will be a full entry for the Parade Lap, I assume the 'top stars' get appearance money.

there would need to be inclusives with that at that price!!, much to the fact i would love to do it again, i wouldnt pay 200 quid,!

What am I missing here..? Let's see if I got it right.. all the traveling marshalls are either current or former TT racers.? (which makes them tons faster than any non-TT racer). And to do this parade lap a person only needs a valid street m/c license.... not a race license, etc..? And if I owned a suitable classic bike and had the means.... would I do it..? HECK YES..! How many non-racers get a chance to do a full lap on closed course..? Note it is limited to 200 bikes.... Sure wish I could do it.!!
