Just to quell the rumours, and let you all know the situation. Alex had a suspected mild stroke last weekend, while they were at Knockhill. He is out on a lunch pass for good behaviour today, and will have a MRI scan on Monday. He is in good spirits, but a bit wobbly. If anyone wants to send cards...home address from me if you mail me, Alex has more than enough visitors at present. I am sure you will all join me in wishing them the very best, and hope to see them at the Superbikes next weekend, if they feel up to it.

Alex is indeed in good spirits; during visiting tonight he was talking of a new healthy regime in future, a change of lifestyle involving drink, drugs and rock'n'roll!
AND his dad is Jackie Campbell, ex IOM and 'off roader', and I've been looking for him for 'the Book'!
