The Eastern Airways British Sidecar Championship is set for an even bigger year in 2012 with news that it has now been made an official partner series of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship.

After being absent for a number of years, last season saw the Eastern Airways British Sidecar Championship line up with the BSB programme at four meetings, but this is set to be doubled for 2012 with eight rounds now scheduled to be held as it becomes an official partner series of BSB along with the Ducati 848 Challenge and Triumph Triple Challenge series'.


Eastern Airways will again be the title sponsor of the Championship whilst talks are currently taking place with several other potential series sponsors.
