Pr1mo Bournemouth Kawasaki riders Chris ‘Stalker’Walker and James Hillier, concentrated their efforts learning the new regulation spec bikes, and basic shakedown testing this week at Brands Hatch indy and Snetterton 300 circuits this week as part of the official BSB test meetings on Wednesday and Thursday.

Fans favourite, Chris Walker had numerous issues with faulty electronics and cooling problems, but utilised his vast experience and skill, to post some very impressive lap times. Placing himself very close to the factory boys, that have already benefitted from extensive winter testing in the UK and Spain.

Stalkers ability shined through and really gelled with the new reg bike, allowing him to demonstrate his natural riding ability, and not relying on electronics to show that the Pr1mo BKR bike will be a lot closer to the sharp end of the racing this year.

James Hillier spent most of the time getting upto speed after the winter off season, and completing vital set up and riding position changes, to a bike that is very different from his EVO spec bike of last year.

It was the first time the team has been able to live and work together as a unit, since the announcement, of the Bournemouth/Pr1mo merger after the introduction of the two rider team rules last year. The riders, technicians and management gelled instantly and seamlessly took up their roles to demonstrate a very professional team that absorbed and overcame many issues on both days, relaying the team capabilities.

With that, the team now look forward to the oncoming season, and cannot wait to arrive at Brands Hatch, for opening round this easter bank holiday weekend, see you there!
