The Ulsterman, best known for his successes on the Grand Prix circuit, saw off the challenge of James Hillier and Jamie Hamilton to take the chequered flag in the Supertwin event.

McWilliams now has the chance to make it a Supertwin double when he takes to the starting grid in Saturday's racing on the Triangle course.
