Appeal for more people to sign up as TT marshals

As many marshals as possible need to sign up on line as soon as they can – that’s the plea from the Isle of Man TT Marshals’ Association.

The association introduced online signing on a couple of years ago, partly as a way of reducing administration and postage costs and partly to create a simple and streamlined system.

A spokesman for the marshals said they were desperate for as many as possible to use the online system – and do it, ideally, as soon as possible.

‘If you are intending to marshal this year, and have not yet signed on using our website, it would help us if you could do so now. It is a simple procedure to follow, and if you do so it will save us the printing and postage costs of sending you a signing on form,’ a spokesman said.

‘If you have marshalled before, or have contacted us and know you are on our database, you do not need to register. Simply enter your warrant number and password and log in, and you will go straight to the screen to enter the sector and locations you want.’

Marshalling packs can now be collected by a third party and anyone who has forgotten their warrant number or password can have a reminder sent by hitting the red bar under the login box.

Anyone not able to marshal this year should also log on to let the association know, to avoid wasted forms being posted out.

Anyone who does not yet know their available dates can pre-enrol by contacting the office then use the web site to add dates later.
