Ha! ha! Eddy, not a hope of me naming him.  This was a Classic Club meeting at Brands last year, and I am not familiar with the riders names. I had not been to Brands for a few years, although I only live ten minutes away, to try and get some photos.  It's a dead loss there now for all us amateurs, with high wire fencing virtually the whole way round.  I know you can shoot through the fence, but the results are not as good.  I found one very short stretch at Clearways without fencing, where I took this shot, but it was full of like minded guys with cameras.

There is a section at Stirlings that has a low fence that is ok , but you need a decent lens as you are a little way off , and is only good at certain times of day for the light or you end up with shadows spoiling it , they do have some nice marshals round there at BSB meetings lol

I remember you telling me that Eddy, but this Meeting was on the short circuit.  I will try and get to the BSB this year, if it's not raining !

I will lend you a brolly , you will need to hold it your self as I clean out of brolly dollys , and you might be well advised to get some knobbly foot wear it can get a bit muddy , but then as a photographer you know how deal them fields can get , ha ha

Some interesting trickery in your posts Rutty , taking the use of the Witch's broomstick to a high level , interesting even though it is not my prefered style , I love the shots from Church Bends where the background tells the story and puts a dimension over just a rider on a bike , but that shot puts yet another dimension in to it , an artistic one , I am useless at taking the pictures in the first place and am even worse at digital trickery , I have so enjoyed the count down over the last few years the standard of photos and Sparks trying to hide the numbers love it all, keep up the good work guys

Thanks Rutt'y now that is to my style love it , a picture telling a thousand words , showing the bike the danger of the surroundings the closeness of the walls the people getting that close to the action the grave stones as a reminder of what could happen if it all goes wrong , all captured in the click of a button, Brill love it all
