Can anyone tell me why it has Alan Jackson as riding in this years Manx on various machines when i heard he has serious injuries? is this the same man?

Alan 'Bud' Jackson, from Kendal, has serious neck injuries after crashing at Scarborough. The Alan Jackson in the Manx is the brother of Andy Jackson and the son of 3 times Formula 2 World Champion Alan Jackson; they live in Preston.

And why do they state that there will be two Norton rotaries in the Manx this year, when , in fact, they've both been turned down!!!! Simple, lack of communication between the Manx Motor Cycle Club and just about everybody else, it would seem.
