Hi everyone and thank the powers for allowing me to enter this new tt forum, i look forward to a great tt 2015 and interacting with your tt followers, i emailed the powers at the old forum and recieved a lengthly reply that realy never made me any wiser as to why it suddenly closed down, I got the basic jist of it as being money, got ferry booked but no accomodation yet it seems to get harder every year. may put ad on this forum in accomodation section. Alan

Just moved over myself.

Shortsighted IMO was the decision to remove the forum over there.

Still, 15 years and counting. We're gearing up for a hell of a year

I bet they wish (whoever it was ) that their site was as busy as it used to be , I do think it was short sighted in the extreme to do away with the forum , even with its sometimes vociferous and opinionated posters(me included) it was the site that I used to go first when logging in to the computer on an evening , looking at the latest news etc . It just feels "empty" on their site now .
Fair play to this site , hope it goes from strength to strength !!

It was on the instructions of the DED and was closed with 24hrs notice to forum members!

Would be interesting to see what the traffic stats are like now on IOMTT.com compared to in the past. Like a lot of others, it was my home page site and I used to vist several times a day specifically to look at the forum posts like I do with this site now. Never log on there now.

Funny it must be a bit quite over there on the dark side these days just had an E mail from the beyond the grave wishing me a Happy Easter this after giving me less than 24 hours to get out and go a while ago !

Usually a bit behind, I only found out about the IOMTT forum closure, which is a bit of an odd decision to close it but there you go. Looking forward to attending the TT again this year, and its good to be on this alternative forum. Now that Malcolm has allowed us onto his forum, could he maybe now sort some sunny weather for this years TT?

Sorry Steady it took a while to reply. Nowt new here mate, same sh1t different day!!!! Not sure what to make of that madhouse comment

Welcome Andy. Another of the flock back in the pen! Right time of the year for it, though judging by the weather you wouldn't think the TT was starting/stuttering today.
