I didn't really know too much about him before this years TT (I'd heard/seen him ride in the BSB series, plus awareness of previous TT's, but that was it), yet I have to say what a really, really top bloke. He has that JM modesty about the way he talks about his racing - I really rate the bloke.

Yeah he,s one of the young guns and shaping up to be one of the top TT riders he,s one to watch in the future he,s already won a super twin TT but there,s more to come!

In his post race interviews after the opening Superbike race, I thought he sounded a bit unhappy/nervous about the speed he was having to go. It did not seem to bother him for the rest of the week though.
