PIT STOPS
Did anyone notice weather there was anybody stopping just for fuel and not using a stand. the supersport race would have been favourite as they don't often change wheels, my mate said he was watching the highlights and said some where not using stands?.

RE: PIT STOPS
We did not have to use stands at the TT.

Maybe I've completely misremembered this, but didn't the rule on using stands when refuelling only come in last year, along with the requirement for fireproof overalls?

Yes it was introduced last MGP and was in the TT Regs for this year (and Manx 15 regs). Riders were informed during the briefs that they were no longet required for TT15. Maybe the MGP fill follow the same route?

RE: PIT STOPS
Looking at the mistakes made in F1 with busy pit crew and their jacks, fuel rigs etc it would only be a matter of time before a bike headed off with a stand still attached, partially attached or the stand dropped in front of another bike in the hectic pit arena. Looks like some common sense has been applied and who hasn't ever dropped a bike off a stand or had one fall off when taking it easy never mind in a rush.

RE: PIT STOPS
Well that's answered that question then, the professionals make mistakes at the TT and the amateurs at manx  have to stand the consequences then it all gets revised again when we get around to the people that caused the problem in the first place makes sense {not} so what about the overalls we have had to spend money on those last year and this year they are not good enough, what's changed.
