Bike Museum Blazing
I've just seen on BBC Midlands Today that there's a huge fire blazing at the National Motorcycle Museum.Apparently 2 of the 5 exhibition halls have been gutted and the fire is still raging.
Awful news.Fingers crossed it'll be put out soon.

Re: Bike Museum Blazing
Around 650 machines lost and only 250 saved, spent many hours browsing around at the T.T. Riders Association annual dinners.

Many of the machines will be one offs or unique survivors from the scrap heap, a terrible loss to not only the motor cycle fraternity but the industrial history of our country and British Industry.

Even if it was fully insured the machines can never be replaced and I am sure many were the treasured possessions of private owners that were on loan.
