Red flag and poor weather blamed
Tonight's Manx Grand Prix practices were blighted again - as poor weather and a red flag incident struck the course.
The Classic TT Superbike and Lightweight machines got away in time, but the Senior and Junior MGP Lightweight rounds were cancelled early on following an incident at Churchtown.
There were reports the bike involved, and a portion of the track, was on fire.
Then, as Senior and Junior Classic competitors lined the grid later, fog descended - forcing officials to postpone the evening's racing entirely.
Of the action that did happen: Dean Harrison set a blistering festival record, clocking a 123.58mph lap on his Kawasaki in the Classic.
Gary Johnson took second, and James Hillier third.
In the Lightweight, Ryan Kneen averaged an impressive 111.628, pipping second-placed Davey Morgan across the line.
