All roads lead to Bishopscourt today and tomorrow for the Sunflower Trophy meeting organised by Hillsborough and District Motorcycle Club.

World, British and Irish champions will be in action as competitors from around the world lock horns with local counterparts.

Lap record holder and defending Sunflower champion Glenn Irwin heads the entry list on his PBM Be Wiser Ducati, but will be pressed hard by two-time winner Danny Buchan - who was recently crowned British Superstock 1000cc champion - and new Tyco BMW recruit Michael Laverty, who has a record six Sunflower Trophy wins to his name.

Leading the home charge will be new Irish Superbike and Supersport champions Charles Stuart (R1 Yamaha) and Jason Lynn, who will ride a Yamaha, while Ross Patterson rides the Kingsbury Packaging Kawasaki Superbike and Carl Phillips is on the Michael Dunlop-supported Suzuki.

Canada's Darren James returns for the Supertwin races while American Dave Estok will compete in the Supersport races.

Practice commences at 9.15am this morning with six races scheduled from approximately 2pm.

Racing starts tomorrow at 10.30am with the feature 12-lap Sunflower Trophy race at 1.20pm.
