TT legend keeping his options open

TT legend John McGuinness has played down a report linking him with a move to Norton for TT 2018.

The Morecambe Missile, who is still recovering from major injury, responded to the claim while appearing at the Joey Dunlop Foundation dinner in the Isle of Man on Saturday night.

He told Jo Pack of The Sport Package he was keeping his options open, having parted ways with Honda after many years with the Japanese manufacturer.

McGuinness says he's spoke to TAS BMW, Norton and Kawasaki, and has looked into the possibility of running something himself, but it all depends on how his recovery goes.

Norton have also dismissed the report of McGuinness signing for them, saying they are yet to finalise their rider lineup.

So much for giving up the big bikes - sounds like the fire still burns Icon_lol .

A solid gold legend - hopefully he has a great time doing whatever he plans.
